The Shelton fast pitch softball team won their fourth game in a row Friday, hammering Kingston 18 to 4 in non-conference action.
The Lady Highclimbers’ Kamryn Hyland led the way batting in seven runs, going 3 for 3 at the plate with a double, a triple and a home run.
Taya Gouley hit a two-run double in Shelton’s nine-run 1st inning.
Allyssa Wilhite hit a triple and two RBI.
Kayla Zembas was 2 for 4 with an RBI.
Emily Morris batted in a run.

Shelton improved to 7-and-10 on the season. The Highclimber return to South Sound Conference play Monday with their final home game of the season against Capital. They wrap up the regular season at Central Kitsap Wednesday.
The ‘Climbers are still in the hunt for a district playoff spot. At 4-and-8 in the SSC, Shelton is currently tied with Timberline and a half game behind Peninsula and Capital who are currently tied for 4th. The top five teams make the WCD / SW 3A District Softball Tournament at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey which begins at May 14th.
