City of Shelton crews will be doing a little spring roadway striping this weekend in the downtown area in preparation for the upcoming Forest Festival. Starting on Sunday, April 28th, at 6:00 PM, crews will be painting crosswalks, parking spaces, and traffic arrows on Franklin, Railroad, and Cota between 1st Street and 7th Street, as well as Olympic Highway North between C Street and K Street.
Traffic impacts will be minimal, however, expect intermittent lane closures in these areas through Wednesday, May 1st. Please obey all traffic signs and flagging personnel. Freshly painted areas will be marked with orange traffic cones.
The remainder of the annual roadway striping is scheduled to be completed throughout the City in September.
