The Shelton baseball team picked up its second South Sound Conference win Monday knocking off Central Kitsap 4 to 1.
Brenden Engstrom picked up the win on the mound, allowing one run on two hits while striking out 12 and walking three. He also batted in two runs.
Max “Falcon” Johnson was 2 for 3 at the plate with a double, batting in a run and scoring a run.
Matthew Osberg was 1 for 2 with an RBI. And Ty Smotherman was 2 for 2 with two doubles and a run scored.
The Highclimbers improved to 5-and-5 on the season, 2-and-3 in the SSC. The teams play again Tuesday.
