2019 Empty Bowls Project

The Shelton Arts Commission is pleased to announce the dates for the 14th Annual Empty Bowls Project – a three night creative effort to fight hunger. Last year, the event raised over $1,900 for The Saint’s Pantry Food Bank in Shelton.

14th Annual Empty Bowls Project Event Dates:
March 6th
5-7 PM I Shelton Civic Center
Create a bowl. Build a one of a kind ceramic bowl. Instruction and materials are provided free of charge for all ages and skill levels.

March 13th
5-7 PM I Shelton Civic Center
Decorate a bowl. Decorate and glaze bowls at the Shelton Civic Center. Extra bowls will be available for those who are not able to attend on the first night. There is no cost to participate.

March 20th
5-7 PM I Shelton Civic Center
Soup & Bread Fundraising Dinner. All bowls that are completed on the 14th will be on display and available to take home with a suggested donation of $10.00. Your donation includes a delicious bowl of soup and bread from one of the six participating restaurants: Olympic Bakery & Deli, Sisters Restaurant, The Strip Steak House, Taylor Shellfish Farms, Smokin’ Mo’s, and Kern’s Kitchen.

All proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to The Saint’s Pantry Food Bank.
