An 18-year-old Shelton woman was injured in a single car crash Saturday morning on U.S. Highway 101 just south of the Skokomish Valley.
A Washington State Patrol press memo says the 2003 Toyota Camry was southbound on 101 about 5:15 AM. At milepost 339, the driver lost control and the car crossed the centerline. The Toyota went into the northbound ditch where it came to rest on its side.
The driver, Samantha C. Ross, was transported by aid car to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.
The trooper’s report indicated that speed was a factor in the crash.
