United Way Executive Director Resigns

United Way of Mason County (UWMC) announced Tuesday that Carrie Lemmon has officially resigned from her four-year post as Executive Director of United Way of Mason County effective February 19, 2019.

In her position, Carrie oversaw the day to day operations of UWMC, collaborating and building relationships with other organizations and businesses in Mason County with the mission to mobilize the power of our local community to help our neighbors in need, and advancing the common good. To carry out this mission, she organized and directed such events as the Annual Valentine Auction, Day of Caring Mason, and the Free Community Dump Day.

The Board of Directors are working with neighboring United Ways to review the current Executive Director job description before opening the position to the public for qualified applicants.

United Way of Mason County will remain open and continue to serve the Mason County residents in normal operations and continue to reach established goals and commitments for the coming year.
