The Washington State Patrol is looking for a light colored minivan after it struck a 10-year-old boy on U.S. Highway 101 near Oyster Bay Road Sunday evening. Troopers say the the minivan, described as silver or cream colored, was northbound on 101 approaching Oyster Bay Road about 5:30 PM.
The boy was walking in the lane two of two just south of Oyster Bay Road. The van struck the boy and continued northbound. The boy suffered life threatening injuries. The highway was blocked for two hours and forty minutes.
Anyone with information about the driver or the minivan is asked to call the State Patrol.
