Four Injured in Agate Road Head-On

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a head-on collision on Agate Road near Agate Loop Monday morning that injured four people.

Mason County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Ryan Spurling told MasonWebTV Powered by HCC the two people in a small pick up truck were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle while two in a larger SUV were taken to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.

Names of those involved have not been released and Spurling said ice was a contributing factor but the investigation is ongoing.

Central Mason Fire and EMS crews were first to respond to the scene in the 3100 block of E. Agate Road.
