The Shelton City Council is meeting on Monday and Tuesday this week. The Council will hold a workshop on Monday and hold an executive session and study session Tuesday. Monday’s workshop starts at 1:30 PM. Tuesday’s 45-minute executive session is set to start at 5:15 PM with the study session 6 PM.
The purpose of Monday’s workshop is for public records training and for the Council to discuss their Protocol Manual.
During the Tuesday closed executive session, Council Members will discuss the qualifications of a public official. No action will follow the executive session.
During the study session, the Council will discuss the Yelm and Thurston County biosolids agreements, the Assess Shelton Concept from Public Works, and be briefed on a proposed street and alley vacation ordinance. Each of these items are expected to be forwarded to the Council’s action agenda for their Tuesday, November 6th business meeting.
