State Route 108 travelers just south of Shelton are advised to plan extra time into their morning and afternoon commutes for the next several months.
Weather permitting, utility crews for Mason County will raise existing power lines along SR 108 between Hurley Waldrip Road and the US 101 interchange beginning later this month. Drivers will encounter one-way alternating traffic with flaggers between the roughly two-mile work zone.
Work will occur each weekday during the following hours:
- 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 through Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019
- No work is scheduled on weekends nor on Nov. 12, Nov. 21-23, Dec. 24-25, Jan. 1, Jan. 24 and Feb. 18.
