Crews for Peninsula Light will begin efforts next week to relocate various utilities in preparation for a future Washington State Department of Transportation fish barrier correction project on State Route 302 in Pierce County. To reduce impacts to travelers, work will occur at night between 118th Ave. NW and 134th Ave. KPN.
9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, through 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19.
Drivers should expect one-way alternating traffic with flaggers and occasional shoulder closures each Sunday through Thursday night.
Additional information about WSDOT’s fish barrier correction projects will be announced as they are scheduled. Correcting fish barriers is an important part of the state’s effort to replace undersized culverts that run under state highways for improved fish passage.
