City Council Holds Study Session

[VIDEO] The Shelton City Council held a study session Friday afternoon.

Discussion during the meeting included raising the city business license fee from $35 to $50, creating a policy for granting street vacations, whether to waive the reversion clause on for city deeded parcels under Oakland Bay Marina, and the several open positions (City Manager, Finance Director, City Clerk and Human Resources Manager). The Council also determined the should hold study sessions on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Official action on these items will likely take place during the Council’s next meeting, 6 PM Tuesday, October 16th.
