Shelton Football Falls in Montesano

The Shelton football team dropped its first road game of the 2018 season Friday in Montesano as the Bulldogs beat the Highclimbers 51 to 6.

Josiah Olels scored Shelton’s touchdown breaking free and running 64 yards for the ‘Climbers’ biggest play of the night.

The sophomore running back finished with 99 yards on 12 carries.

Montesano racked up 470 yards of offense and held Shelton to 176.

The Highclimbers dropped to 0-and-2 on the season. They return to Jack Stark Field at Highclimber stadium next Friday to open South Sound Conference play against Capital. The Cougars are 2-and-0 after beating WF West 29 to 9 Friday and knocking off Lakes in week one 22 to 9.
