The City of Shelton has relaxed burn restrictions and now recreational fires are allowed in the City.
A news release says the City’s Fire Marshal has determined that current weather conditions have reduced substantial fire dangers and that there is a desire to relax restrictions on outdoor recreational burning on all lands located within the City of Shelton. The ban on recreational outdoor burning was relaxed effective Friday, August 31, 2018 at 8:00 AM.
