SR 102 Chip Seal Work Rescheduled for Saturday

Work previously scheduled to occur today (Friday, July 13th) on State Route 102 (West Dayton Airport Road) north of Shelton has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, July 14th). During daylight hours on Saturday, drivers can expect one-way alternating traffic and reduced speed limits.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will continue efforts to apply a chip seal – crushed rock embedded into liquid asphalt – on the highway between US 101 and the Washington Corrections Center. Subsequent work activities will include sweeping and installation of a protective weatherproofing.
