A trucker from Belfair was involved in a three-vehicle crash in Vancouver Friday night that injured three people.
The State Patrol says a 2010 Subaru Impreza was at a high rate of speed getting onto southbound Interstate 5 just north of the Vancouver City Limits about 11:15 PM. The Subaru cut across the gore point and struck a southbound 2016 Volvo tractor pulling two semi trailers. The semi rotated to the left and struck the left side of southbound 2016 Toyota Camry which caused the truck to jack-knife.
The three of the four people in the Subaru were injured.
Those in the Toyota and driver of the semi, identified as Timothy P. Johnson, 57 of Belfair were not injured.
The collision memo indicates that the cause of the crash was speed but the investigation is ongoing.
