The City of Shelton presented the final design for its Downtown Connector project Wednesday night.
This fully fund $4.3 Million project will revitalize the West Alder Street/Olympic Highway North corridor (from North 1st Street to West C Street) and and includes new asphalt streets, sidewalks, streetscapes, street and pedestrian lighting, ADA ramps, stormwater upgrades, intersection improvements, and a roundabout at 1st and Alder.
Work on the project has started and is beginning at C Street. Construction of the roundabout will be the final phase of the project. Updates on the construction will be provided on the City’s website, Facebook page and Twitter every Thursday with updates as needed.
