Large Law Enforcement Presence at NMHS Tuesday & Wednesday

The North Mason School District is informing the community that there will be a large law enforcement and emergency services presence on the campus of the North Mason High School Tuesday and Wednesday, May 1st and 2nd. And at Phil Pugh Stadium on Tuesday as the North Mason High School partners with Mason County Fire, Police, and the Washington State Patrol to put on a Mock Car Crash presentation.

The program is called “The Every 32 Minutes Program”, and is used nation-wide in reducing teen driving fatalities and serious injury – as Prom approaches.

Counselors will be available all day should any of our students need to see them. This mock crash will take place in the stadium and the program will be completed the next day with an all-school assembly.

The program was presented to the high school’s student body in 2016. MasonWebTV Powered by HCC was on hand for that presentation.
