An Allyn man was one of two people injured in a two-car crash near Kingston Sunday night. According to the State Patrol, a 2000 Honda Accord was eastbound on Highway 104 about 9 PM. At the “T” intersection with State Route 307, two miles west of Kingston, the Honda failed to stop at the light and struck the passenger side of a westbound 1998 Acura Integra. A press memo indicates that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash and the driver of the Accord could face DUI charges but the investigation continues.
The driver of the Integra, Kodi S. Butler-Wright, 21 of Allyn, and his passenger, Shadow G. Erickson, 19 of Bremerton, were injured and transported by aid car to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.
The driver of the Honda, Julie A. Hatton, 52 of Kingston, was not injured.
Both vehicles were totaled in the crash and impounded.
