The Shelton fast pitch softball team knocked off Centralia Friday 11 to 3 in a nonleague game played at MCRA. The Lady Highclimbers improved to 2-and-3 on the season. They return to South Sound Conference play Monday when they play at Capital.
The Shelton at Lakes baseball game was rescheduled. The Highclimbers next game is Saturday at home against North Kitsap.
The North Mason baseball team lost at Coupeville Friday 11 to 1. The Bulldogs are now 2-and-7 on the season. The boys from Belfair travel to North Kitsap on Wednesday.
The North Mason fastpitch softball team lost at Coupeville Friday 7 to 3. The Lady Bulldogs are now 2-and-5 on the season. The girls from Belfair travel to Klahowya Monday.
Thursday, the North Mason boys’ soccer team played Coupeville to a 3-3 tie. The Bulldogs are now 1-2-and-2 on the season. The boys from Belfair host North Kitsap Saturday, March 24th.
Two members of the Mary M. Knight track and field team continue to excell. On Thursday, the Owls’ Kaylee Sowle topped four events and Ian Frost took one in a nine-team meet at Raymond. Sowle won the girls’ 100 meters with a season record time of 13.2 seconds; took the high jump with a season record distance of 34 feet, 11 inches; won the high jump and the long jump. Ian Frost won the discus, was 4th in the javelin and 5th in the shot put.
