Burglary Reported at Shelton Pharmacy

Shelton Police Department is investigating a burglary at Neil’s Pharmacy in Shelton. According to a news release, officers were dispatched to the store in the 500 block of West Franklin Street just after 5 AM Sunday regarding a commercial burglary. Officers found the front door shattered but the suspect had fled prior to their arrival.

It was determined that several prescription level drugs were stolen. The suspect was seen jumping into the passenger seat of a Kia Soul, which fled westbound on Franklin Street past the Mason Transit-Community Center at 5:00 AM.

Surveillance video captured pictures of the suspect vehicle and the driver can be seen wearing a fluorescent green type jacket or sweatshirt. The Kia appears to be light green or gray.

Similar burglaries involving suspects driving the same type of vehicle involved in the Shelton crime have also been reported in Elma and Yelm. Shelton Police are working with these agencies in an attempt to identify and locate those responsible for this crime.
