Mason County’s Permit Assistance Center has recently updated the development permit application requirements in response to upcoming changes in technology. These changes are designed to align industry code requirements for digital submissions.
A new ” Residential Submittal Checklist” has been created to aid potential home owners, builders, and design professionals on what is required prior to the county’ s acceptance of a development application. Current applicants and design professionals are encouraged to review and use this new checklist immediately to confirm timely processing. Starting the first of April, any incomplete, or omission on the submittal checklist will not allow applications to be accepted by the department.
