The Shelton School District is reporting a brief lock down at Bordeaux Elementary Thursday. According to the District, at 11:08 AM the school was placed under lock down for approximately 17 minutes. Shelton Police Department was called to the scene. The safety of students and staff are the District’s highest priority and the lock down was put into effect as a precautionary measure at the request of Principal Carey Murray due to situation on school property. The situation was quickly brought under control and the lock down was lifted.
