The Shelton City Commission is holding a special meeting at 7 PM Tuesday. The meeting will be held in the courtroom at the Shelton Civic Center. During the meeting the Commissioners will discuss the City’s Strategic Plan and Economic Development Plan. The meeting is open to the public.
The City Commission is also holding an executive session Tuesday. The 30-minute closed session starts at 6:30 PM.
The purpose of the executive session: “To discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency.”
