The City of Shelton updated the public on its plans to reconstruct Alder Street and a portion of Olympic Highway North after being awarded a grant to complete the work from the intersection with 1st Street to the intersection with C Street. The biggest change change to the design, which is 90 percent complete, is a roundabout at 1st and Alder.
The City’s Public Works Director, Craig Gregory, presented the update the public Wednesday night and MasonWebTV Powered by HCC recorded the full presentation.
The second video focuses on the roundabout:
Construction on the road improvements is expected to begin this spring. The City’s Basin 3 project will also be under construction at the same time. Basin 3 is in same area.
