The North Mason School Board heard about the Cooperative High School being proposed by the Hood Canal and Pioneer school districts. Pioneer’s Superintendent Marty Brewer made a presentation Thursday.
Each District is asking voters to approve a $30 Million bond to build the $60-$70 Million, 100,000 square foot high school for 750 students. If approved, the high school would be built in the Lake Limerick area. Ballots for the construction bond will be mailed to voters next week. The measure will need a super-majority (60%) to pass.
