Shelton Football Finale Moved to Thursday

The Shelton football team’s final game of the 2017 season has been moved to Thursday. The Highclimbers’ game against Mt. Tahoma is now set to kick off at 6 PM Thursday night. According to Shelton Athletic Director Jim Judson, a shortage of available referees prompted the change to Thursday and because it is a school night, the kickoff is an hour earlier. The ‘Climbers have an 0-and-9 record while the T-Birds are 1-and-8.

The North Mason football team wraps up its season on the road Friday. The Bulldogs play Clover Park at Harry Lang Stadium in Lakewood. Kickoff is 7 PM. The boys from Belfair are 4-and-5 on the season while the Warriors are 2-and-7.

The Mary M. Knight football team plays Tacoma Baptist Saturday in the Class 1B Quad-District Football Playoffs. The game will be played at Curtis High School in Tacoma. The Owls are 5-and-4 on the season while the Crusaders are 6-and-3.
