Oregon Man Injured in Crash South of Skok Valley

An Oregon man was injured Friday when the minivan he was driving struck a tree on U.S. Highway 101 south of the Skokomish Valley. A State Patrol press memo says the 2003 Dodge Caravan was southbound on 101 about 7 PM. At milepost 340, the van left the highway to the right and struck a tree.

The driver, Robert D. Webb, 60 of Powers, Oregon, was transported to Mason General Hospital.

Cause of the crash is under investigation.
