A Seattle woman was injured in a single-car crash on Highway 106 near Happy Hollow Tuesday night. According to a State Patrol press memo, a 1992 Subaru station wagon was eastbound on SR-106 about 6:30 PM. At Happy Hollow (milepost 15.2), the car failed to negotiate a curve and struck the ditch. The Subaru continued traveling until it hit a power pole where it came to rest.
The driver of the station wagon, Jennifer N. Farley, 37 of Seattle, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Cause of the crash is under investigation.
