Shelton Drops Game at Peninsula; NM Falls to PA

The Shelton football team’s offense was unable to score and the Highclimbers lost to Peninsula 56 to 0 Friday.

The Seahawks scored on every possession except one on their way to their second South Sound Conference win.

The Highclimbers turned the ball over twice, ending any scoring threat. They were able to drive to the one-yard line but the drive stalled due to penalties.

Shelton drops to 0-and-4 on the season. The ‘Climbers are on the road again next week with a Thursday night game against Timberline at South Sound Stadium. The game is on MasonWebTV Powered by HCC. Kick off is 7 PM.

North Mason Falls to Port Angeles

The North Mason football team couldn’t overcome four turnovers and lost their first game of the season, 13 to 2 to Port Angeles. The Bulldogs only points came on a safety with about two minutes to go.

The boys from Belfair fall to 3-and-1 on the season. North Mason travels to Silverdale next Friday to take on Olympic.
