Harmony Hill, a retreat center located just outside of Union, Washington, is offering two new fall wellness retreats that are open for everyone seeking ways to find new tools to create health and wellness in their own lives.
Modeled after our transformative three-day cancer retreats, our wellness retreats will focus on specific topics and are open to everyone. Incorporating group sessions, yoga, meditation, and other techniques, these retreats last three days and two nights. Accommodations, meals, and curriculum are included in the registration fee.
Mindfulness & Meditation: October 7-9, 2017
This retreat is three days of learning and practicing mindfulness through movement, meditation, sharing, silence, creative expression, and connecting with the natural environment, all in a supportive community. Experience and studies have shown that practicing mindfulness can bring a variety of physical, psychological, social, and other benefits. Faculty include; Chris Adams, M.D., Erica Rayner-Horn, M.A., L.M.H.C., and Denise Carrico, B.F.A., Integral Yoga Instructor.
Grief & Loss Retreat: November 17-19, 2017
The loss of a loved one is a deeply profound experience and a very personal journey. During this three-day residential retreat, you will have time to reflect and explore the physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges of grief. Through small group discussions and activities such as yoga, meditation, creative arts, and more, our compassionate faculty share tools designed to help facilitate healing. This retreat is open to any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one from any cause.
