Wildfire Smoke Creating Haze Over Puget Sound

The smokey haze you see over Puget Sound is smoke from wildfires, locally and in Canada. There was a brush fire off Agate Road between Agate Loop and Crestview Drive Monday night and there is reportedly a brush fire on Key Peninsula. However, the large wildfires north of the border are the main source of the haze. This satellite picture was taken at 2 PM Tuesday.

What is more glaring is this animation of predicted smoke movement from the Canadian fires through Wednesday afternoon.
