Cooling Stations Opening

Mason County Emergency Management is opening cooling stations at four locations in the County to help people find relief from this week’s hot temperatures. These stations will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (August 2-4) during regular business hours for you to drop by and cool off if needed. The locations are the Shelton Civic Center in Shelton, Mason County Public Works just north of Shelton, HUB Center for Seniors in Belfair and the Union Fire Hall.

Wednesday, August 2, 2017 Locations:
City of Shelton Civic Center, 525 W. Cota St., Shelton, open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mason County Public Works, 100 W. Public Works Dr., Shelton, open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
HUB Center for Seniors, 111 NE Old Belfair Hwy., Belfair, open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Fire District #6 Station 6-1, 50 E. Seattle St., Union, open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m

Thursday, August 3, 2017 Locations:
