A 74-year-old Bremerton woman was seriously injured after her car rolled over on Highway 3 south of Pickering Road Thursday evening. The State Patrol reports the 2014 Subaru Legacy was southbound on SR-3 about 6:15 PM. At milepost 10.5 (which is between Pickering Road and the Pioneer Substation), the sedan left the roadway to the right and struck an embankment causing the car to flip end over end. The Subaru landed on its wheels on the southbound shoulder.
The driver, Linda A Bourboulis, 74 of Bremerton, was transported to Mason General Hospital in Shelton and then transfered to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tacoma.
