The July 4th holiday has caused some schedule changes for the Mason County Commission, Shelton City Commission, the Port of Shelton Commission, and the Port of Allyn Commission.
The County Commission is NOT meeting this week. They canceled their Monday briefings and Tuesday regular business meeting. The County Commissioners will resume their regular meeting schedule (briefings on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – if necessary – and business meetings on Tuesday starting at 9 AM) the week of July 10th.
The City Commission has canceled their Monday business meeting and is holding a special meeting at 10 AM Thursday, July 6th with only voucher approval on that meeting’s agenda. The City Commissioners will return to their regular meeting schedule (Every Monday: 6 PM on the first and third; 2 PM on the second, fourth and fifth) the week of July 10th with a 2 PM meeting.
The Port of Shelton Commission has canceled their Tuesday business meeting and is holding a special meeting at 2 PM Wednesday. Items on the Port Commissioners’ agenda include check control reports for June and July, approval of a CERB Repayment Resolution, approval of a lease, and an executive session on real estate. The Port of Shelton Commission meets in their chambers at the the Port Office, 21 W. Sanderson Way. The special meeting is open to the public. The Port Commission will return to their regular meeting schedule (2 PM the first and third Tuesday of each month) on July 18th.
The Port of Allyn Commission, which usually meets on the first Monday of a month, is meeting at 6 PM Wednesday, July 5th. The Port of Allyn Commissioners are expected to take action on a resolution authorizing a BFPA grant application.
