There are over 100 community fireworks displays in Washington State, all celebrating the Fourth of July. One of those displays is in Mason County: at Alderbrook Resort in Union (Thunder on the Canal) on Monday, July 3rd. At these displays, certified and licensed pyrotechnicians who are trained and experienced in the safe use of fireworks, will provide an exciting show filled with spectacular and vibrant-colored productions.
Nearby public displays:
On Sunday, July 2nd: in Tumwater (at Tumwater Valley Golf Course) and in Rochester (at South Sound Speedway).
On Monday, July 3rd: in Olympia (at Boston Harbor Marina), Lacey (at William A. Bush Park) and at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma.
On Tuesday, July 4th: at JBLM, in Steilacoom, in Tacoma (at Ruston Way Water Front), in the Port Orchard/Bremerton areas (part of Fathoms of Fun), and in Aberdeen (at Morrison River Front Park),
On Wednesday, July 5th: at Grays Harbor Raceway,
While attending a public display, always sit a safe distance away from the firing area. After the show, be sure children do not pick up any fireworks debris that they find on the ground – they may still be active and could cause serious injury.
If staying within the comfort of your own home is more appealing, check with your local television station. Many times, these shows are televised live, offering patriotic soundtracks, such as the Family Fourth at Lake Union.
