Shelton Relay for Life is Saturday

The Shelton Relay for Life is Saturday at Kneeland Park. This year’s theme is “Game On Cancer”. The one-day event starts at 10 AM with the survivor’s breakfast.

The opening ceremony is 11 AM and features the Shelton High School NJROTC Color Guard and the Wildcatz Fierce Cheer.

At 12:30 PM local favorite The Varmints take the stage.

There is a Cancer Jingle Contest at 2 PM.

Remember to purchase you raffle tickets for the Playhouse drawing at 3 PM. This year’s model is the largest and greatest yet and has a Seattle Seahawks theme.

Following the drawing is lawn and field games for the kids and family-friendly karaoke at 3:30.

After an hour of open mic, the Randy Band takes the stage.

A scavenger hunt for kids 13 and under starts at 6:30 PM.

At 7:30, dance along to a Zumba workout

The Victor Cummings Band will be on stage at 9 PM

And 10:00 PM marks the Luminaria and closing ceremonies.
