First Day of Candidate Filing

On the first day of candidate filing (Monday, May 15, 2017), 27 people filed for 25 offices with three filing for City of Shelton Commissioner of Streets and Public Improvement.

Kevin Dorcy, Eric Onisko and Jacob Dreifus filed for the City Commisson seat currently held by Tracy Moorewho told MasonWebTV Powered by HCC she will be filing later this week.

Sharon (Moore) Fogo filed to retain her Mason County Clerk seat. This is the only County wide position up for election this fall and the only partisan seat. Fogo prefers the Democratic Party.

Kristy Buck filed to remain Port of Shelton Commissioner Position No. 3.
Incumbent Don Wilson filed for Public Hospital District 1 Commissioner Position No. 2.
Incumbent Gayle Weston file for Public Hospital District 1 Commissioner Position No. 3.
Michael Petz filed to remain Port of Hoodsports Commissioner Position No. 2.
Incumbent Sally Karr filed for Shelton School Board Director District No. 3.
Incumbent Sally Brownfield filed for Shelton School Board Position No. 1.
Incumbent Leanna Krotzer filed for North Mason School District Director District No. 2.
Craig Patti filed for North Mason School District Director District No. 5 seat that is currently held by Dinah Griffey.
Incumbent Mike Felton filed for Pioneer School Board Position No. 5.
Incumbent Don Pogreba filed for Southside School Board Director Position No. 4.
Incumbent Edward Haigh filed for Southside School Board Director Position No. 5.
Incumbent Leroy Valley filed for Mary M. Knight School Board Director Position No. 1.
