Results from SHS Soccer; NM tennis

The Shelton boys’ soccer team wrapped up the regular season Thursday by shutting out Capital 3 to 0 (three-nil) to avenge their season opening loss to the Cougars. The Highclimbers haven’t lost a game since April 11th and have gone 7-0-and-1 during that stretch. Shelton has a 8-5-and-3 overall record, 7-4-and-3 in the South Sound Conference and are in 4th place in the standings. It appears the ‘Climbers will take on Bonney Lake in the Class 3A West Central District / Southwest District Tournament on May 11th at Ingersoll Stadium. The Panthers are 8-7-and-1 on the season, 7-6-and-1 in the Pierce County League and the number five seed. Kick off is 7:30 PM.

Weather postponed the Shelton vs. Olympia softball game and the Capital at Shelton girls’ tennis match.

The North Mason girls’ tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a loss at Port Angeles Thursday 5 to 2. The Olympic League Championships are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
