Results from SHS golf & soccer; NM golf; MMK baseball

The Shelton boys’ soccer team played Gig Harbor to a 1-1 tie Tuesday. The Highclimbers are now 5-5-and-3 on the season, 4-4-and-3 in the South Sound Conference. Shelton travels to Yelm Thursday.

Shelton golf teams beat Timberline Tuesday. The boys’ score was the Highclimbers 127, the Blazers 95. On the girls’ side, Shelton 34, Timberline 70. The ‘Climbers’ Tim Nail and Dreann Meriman earned Medalists honors. Nail shot a two-over-par 74 while Merriman shot a 55 for 19 over par at Alderbrook Golf Course. Shelton will be participating in the Duke Streeter Invite on Friday.

The Gig Harbor at Shelton girls’ tennis match was rained out.

The North Mason golf teams lost to Sequim Tuesday. The boys’ score was the Wolves 168, the Bulldogs 208. On the girls’ side, Sequim 179, NM 244. The golfers from Belfair have the Olympic League Championships at Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course on May 2nd.

The Mary M. Knight baseball team was shut out by Lake Quinault Tuesday 17 to 0. No other details have been reported. The Owls travel to Naselle on Friday.
