Mary M. Knight Basketball

MasonWebTV.com is not able video webcast the Mary M. Knight basketball teams’ games in the Regional Round of the State Tournament but we will be providing text play-by-play and live quarter updates. The reason for this limited coverage is restrictions imposed by the Washington Interscholastic Athletics Association (WIAA). In order to webcast or broadcast state basketball games, the WIAA requires rights fees. The amount for a video or just audio webcast is $300 per game. That amount ($600 to webcast both teams) is not in MasonWebTV.com’s budget for this year. However, we have been granted permission to provide text play-by-play and live reports after each quarter. We also plan to have video highlights of the game after it has been completed.
