High School Sports Results from 4/21/17

The Shelton boys’ soccer team won their third South Sound Conference game in a row Friday on MasonWebTV Powered by HCC as the Highclimbers knocked off North Thurston 3 to 1.

Jose Flores scored Shelton’s first two goals in the first half (in the 21st minute and in the 27th minute). Alex Lopez added to the Highclimbers lead in the second half before the Tommy Johnson got the Rams on the board. Shelton improved to 4-5-and-2 on the season, 3-4-and-2 in SSC play. The ‘Climbers host Timerline today (Saturday, April 22, 2017).

After the first day of the Chehalis Activators Invitational, Mary M. Knight’s Kaylee Sowle was first in the prelims of the 100 meters while Shelton’s Gage Peterson finished 4th in the prelims of the 100 meters and Raymundo Mendoza was 5th in the prelims for the 110-meter hurdles. Competition continues today (Saturday, April 22, 2017).

The North Mason baseball team was shut out by Sequim Friday 6 to 0. The Bulldogs drop to 2-and-12 on the season, 1-and-8 in the Olympic League. The boys from Belfair travel to Klahowya Monday.

The North Mason boys’ soccer team lost at Sequm 7 to 1. The Bulldogs now have a 2-and-8 overall record, 2-and-7 in Olympic League play. The boys from Belfair host Chimacum Tuesday.

The North Mason softball team was blanked by Sequim 12 to 0. The Lady Bulldogs drop to 2-and-5 on the season, 1-and-4 in the Olympic League. The girls from Belfair host North Kitsap on Wednesday.

The North Mason girls’ tennis team lost to Sequim 6 to 1. The Lady Bulldogs host Bremerton Monday.
