2017 Forest Festival Court

Saturday, the Coronation of the 2017 Mason County Forest Festival was held at the Performing Arts Center at the Shelton High School.

The Queen of the Forest is Rosa Castro from Shelton High School
Princess of Douglas Fir is Hannah Salapka from Shelton High School
Princess of Cedar is Eryn Earsley from Shelton High School (also won the essay award)
Princess of Spruce is Brittani Caldwell from Shelton High School
Princess of Hemlock is Jessica Schreiber from Shelton High School
New this year is Princess of Pine which went to Emily Parks from Shelton High School
Paul Bunyan is Nico Ramirez from North Mason High School (also won the Friendship Award)
Timber the Axe Man is Spencer Burris from Mary M. Knight High SchoolAs Queen of the Forest, Rosa Castro  earns a $2,000 scholarship from the Phyllis & Duane Guenther Memorial Scholarship Fund.

As Paul Buyan, Nico Ramirez receives a $2,000 scholarship form the Shelton Rotary and the Mason County Forest Festival Association.

As Timber the Axe Man, Spencer Burris gets a $1,000 scholarship from Skookum Rotary.

Princess of Douglas Fir, Hannah Salapka, earns $1,000 scholarship from Shelton Kiwanis Foundation

Princess of Cedar, Eryn Earsley, receives $1,000 scholarship from Kristmas Town Kiwanis.

Princess of Spruce, Brittani Caldwell, gets a $1,000 scholarship from Denis & Adele Leverich.

Princess of Hemlock, Jessica Schreiber, earns a $1,000 scholarship from Christmas Village.

Princess of Pine, Emily Parks, receives a scholarship from Bowman Financial Group & the Mason County Forest Festival Association.
