Openings on Hood Canal Coordinating Council Citizen Advisory Group

The Hood Canal Coordinating Council (HCCC) is seeking members to serve on their local Citizen Advisory Group (GAG). This group consists of citizens from the surrounding communities of the Hood Canal with an interest in salmon habitat recovery projects. Membership consists of representative interests from counties, tribes, landowners and citizens, environmental and habitat interest groups and business interests.

The CAG is responsible for the ranking of projects to be presented to the full HCCC Citizens Committee using technical input and rankings from the Technical Advisory Group and guidance from the HCCC as the Lead Entity for the Salmon Recovery Funding Board process.

This is a volunteer position with an expected participation in five meetings a year plus field visits in April for 2-3 days. The term will be up to three years.
