The autopsy results on the man found dead earlier this week near Stump Lake were inconclusive.
The Mason County Coroner says an autopsy on Christopher Adam Case, 34 of Shelton, was completed Friday. Coroner Wes Stockwell reported that there were no signs of foul play but that the results were inconclusive for a cause of death. Further examination and testing by the forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy will be required.
Case was reported missing on Tuesday, January 10th and found dead Wednesday, January 11th in a wooded area off Cloquallam Road in western Mason County.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
