Port Disappointed with Shelton Hills Ruling But Won’t Appeal

The Port of Shelton will not appeal this week’s ruling on the rezone of property in the Shelton Hills Development. The Port’s Executive Director, John Dobson, told MasonWebTV.com that they are disappointed by the decision but accept it. 2-17-12dobson1

Dobson says the Port will move on and they are working with Hall Equities on a possible land swap that would address their concerns over a portion of the 160 acres that, with the ruling, will now be Residential instead of Commercial/Industrial. 2-17-12dobson2

According to Dobson, the Port is supportive of the Shelton Hills Development. 2-17-12dobson3
