North Mason Boys’ Basketball Fall to Port Townsend

The North Mason boys’ basketball team fell to Port Townsend Friday night 62 to 49 on MasonWebTV Powered by HCC.

The Bulldogs fell behind early in the first quarter but were able to over take the Redhawks to lead by four after the first eight minutes.

Every time the boys from Belfair made a run, they would give the ball back to the Redhawks and the game remained close until the second half of the fourth quarter. In the last four minutes of the game, Port Townsend started to hit their free throws and slowly increased their lead.

The Redhawks were led by Berkley Hill’s 19 points, and the 15 points each from Detrius Kelsall and Kaiden Parcher.

Brice Sollis was North Mason’s top scorer with 13 points. Trey Fisher and Kevin Burrell-Briggs each added 11 points. Jonah Ness chipped in 6 points. And Ryan Pearson, Tanner Coldiron, and AJ Dumont each scored 2 points.

The Bulldogs evened their record at 1-and-1. They host Chimacum Monday.
