The North Mason School Board met Tuesday night in their new boardroom at new District Office. The meeting was moved from Thursday so board members can attend an association meeting in Spokane later in the week.
During the meeting, Superintendent Dana Rosenbach the Oath of Office to Student Board Member Grace Collins. The Board went on to hear the District 2015-16 Year End Budget Presentation and a summary of the School Success Plans for James A. Taylor High School, Homelink, Hawkins Middle School and North Mason High School. This resolution will be published, allowing residents time to review and comment on it before action will be taken which is slated for December 15th. The Board did approve a resolution recommending the disposition and use of the Mary E. Theler Community Center as a School District Early Learning Center based on input from the community.
