No injuries were reported when a dump truck rolled over on U.S. Highway 101 Monday morning, blocking for three and a half hours. The State Patrol says the 1999 Peterbilt dump truck was towing a 1999 Sturdy transfer trailer northbound on 101 about 11:40 AM. The dump truck attempted to turn westbound onto Highway 102 (Dayton Airport Road). The speed of the Peterbilt was too fast and the trailer pushed the Peterbilt onto its side spilling its load. The dump truck came to rest in the westbound lane of SR-102. Troopers are still investigating the cause of this crash.
The driver of the Peterbilt has been identified as Ivan T. Robinson, 24 of Lakewood.
