Tickets Still Available for Fantasy Forest 2016

2016-tree-logo-090816Sunday, October 30 is the deadline to purchase tickets for Fantasy Forest 2016 – A Benefit for Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics, the Hospital Foundation’s ‘signature’ holiday fundraising event.  This year’s event begins on Friday, November 11 and runs November 16 through 19 – with some wonderful, new features!

Changes this year starts with the Father-Daughter Night Out, to be held locally at the Shelton Civic Center. And a brand new event – Barrels & Brews, will be featured as this year’s Toast to All Our Community Supporters, in an evening of fun and festivity with wine and beer tasting.

There’s something fun for everyone in a week of celebration, entertainment, festive libations, dining, and dancing that raises funds to benefit Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics.

Fantasy Forest 2016 kicks off on Friday, November 11 with the Father-Daughter Night Out. Catered by MGH&FC’s Executive Chef John Cruse and staff, a little princess can accompany her father on a magical evening of dancing the night away among the shimmering lights at this year’s new location – Shelton Civic Center, 525 W Cota St, Shelton, WA 98584. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30, and the event ends at 10 p.m. The evening includes a mini-gift boutique, raffle, auction items and Fund-An-Item silent appeal.  Portrait packages will be offered by Cooper Studios. Reservations are required and tickets are $40 per person.

Alderbrook Resort & Spa festivities start Wednesday, November 16.  Be the first to see this year’s Designer Decorated Trees, and shop at the MGHF’s Specialty Gift Shop & Boutique, for an intimate shopping experience with friends and family. The Gift Shop is open to the public Wednesday through Friday, November 16 and 17 from noon to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tree viewing dates and times are Wednesday, November 16, noon to 7:45 p.m., Thursday from 3 to 7:45 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Admission is by donation at the door, recommended at $5 per person, and children age 3 and under are always FREE.

Thursday, November 17 features a Fashion Show & Luncheon with a unique selection of fashions presented by Pam Hanson of Cameo Boutique. The event includes a Silent Auction, Fund-An-Item appeal, Specialty Gift Shop and Designer Decorated Tree viewing. MGHF Board member, Jeff McHargue will again be the Event emcee. Ticket price includes a gourmet lunch with Fashion Show to follow. Doors open at 10 a.m. with Silent Auction from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Seating for the Fashion Show is at 11:30 a.m. with lunch served at noon, and the event concludes at 2:30 pm.  Reservations are required, with tickets at $55 per person, or $550 for a table of 10.

Friday, November 18 is the Business Lunch & Confections Auction. Come with a friend or bring the whole office and get in the holiday spirit, dining in an atmosphere of beautifully decorated trees and bidding on over-the-top sweets! This event is being hosted in partnership with Alderbrook Resort & Spa. Doors open at 11 a.m. with lunch served at 11:30, followed by the Dessert Auction and Fund-An-Item appeal from noon to 1 p.m.  Checkout begins at 1 p.m. and the event concludes at 1:30. Reservations are required and tickets are $50 per person, or $500 for a table of 10.

Friday evening hosts a new event for Fantasy Forest 2016! Barrels & Brews – A Toast to Our Community Supporters celebrates all of our community for their support of our mission with a selection of Pacific Northwest wines, craft beers and gourmet hors d’oeuvres. Live music featuring the band Lit End – a local Olympia area cover band that features hits from Johnny Cash to current pop favorites. This will add the perfect ambiance for this new featured event.  For information, visit Lit End’s website at Alderbrook Resort & Spa is also offering special overnight stay rates for that evening.  Doors open at 5 p.m., and the event runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m., featuring a Silent Auction and Fund-an-Item appeal. Tickets are $60 per person, and guests must be 21 or older to attend (with photo ID on request). Soft seating only, reservations are required and tickets purchased at the door are $75.

The evening of Saturday, November 19, the Alderbrook Resort & Spa is the site for Fantasy Forest’s final event – co-sponsored by Heritage Bank and Sierra Pacific Industries – Mason General Hospital Foundation’s Annual Grand Gala & Live Auction.  Kick off the holiday season of giving by attending an enchanting evening at the Alderbrook Resort & Spa on the Hood Canal with friends, show your support for MGHF, and make a difference that touches the entire community!  The Gala event includes a no-host bar (black tie is optional) and Alderbrook Resort & Spa is offering special overnight stay rates. Portrait packages are also offered by Cooper Studios.  Doors open at 5 p.m., cocktail hour and Silent Auction are 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and the Gala Dinner and Auction Program starts at 6:30. Tickets are $175 per person and $1,750 for a table of 10.  Premiere tickets are $200 per person, and $2,000 for a Premiere table for 10 with guaranteed front row placement (premiere seating is limited). After October 30, single tickets for the Gala & Live Auction (if still available) must be purchased by calling the Foundation office at (360) 427-3623.
